What is the purpose of this medicine? ]
・ It is prescribed for the purpose of contraception.
・ It has been reported that the failure rate in general use including forgetting to take the oral contraceptive for one year is 9%.
・ Oral contraceptives do not prevent HIV infection (AIDS) and other sexually transmitted diseases.

[What is the effect of this medicine? ]
-This drug has an ovulation-suppressing effect as its main effect, and exerts a contraceptive effect by inhibiting implantation due to changes in the endometrium and inhibiting sperm passage due to changes in cervical mucus.

Administer 1 tablet daily for 21 consecutive days (starting with reddish brown sugar-coated tablets) at a fixed time every day, and take a 7-day rest period.
The above 28 days is regarded as one administration cycle, and tablets of the next cycle are administered from the 29th day regardless of whether the bleeding has ended or continued, and the same procedure is repeated thereafter.

When do you take this medicine? ]

・ When switching from other oral contraceptives to this drug When switching from

When switching from the 28-tablet type oral contraceptive: Take all the medicines you were taking before, and then start taking this medicine. If you are late in taking the drug, you may be pregnant.

[What
to do if you miss a dose] If you miss a dose (excluding the 28-tablet white sugar-coated tablets (large)), if you notice it by the next day, immediately take the missed tablet and take the tablet for that day as well. Take as usual.
If you miss a dose for more than 2 consecutive days, you should stop taking it, wait for the next menstruation, and resume administration. If you miss a dose, you are more likely to become pregnant, so use another contraceptive method for that cycle.

What are the side effects of this drug? ]
