Action and effect

Faboir is a contraceptive containing the new luteinizing hormones of 3rd generation monophasic desogestrel, gestodene and ethinyl estradiol as active ingredients.

The 3rd generation was developed to reduce the action of male hormones that became stronger in the 2nd generation, and by further strengthening the action of progesterone, the action of male hormones is suppressed.

As a contraceptive effect, by continuing to take it correctly, it suppresses the growth of follicles and suppresses ovulation, and by suppressing the thickening of the endometrium, it works to inhibit implantation. In addition, by changing the viscosity and composition of the cervical mucus (vaginal discharge), it is difficult for sperm to reach the uterus from the cervix, preventing pregnancy.
